Welcome to PneuProject
PneuProject was founded in 2011 to create faith experiences that break through barriers. Named from the Greek word used for "breath, wind, & the Holy Spirit" in the New Testament Scriptures.
We launch ministries that share the Way of the Risen Lord, Yehoshua (meaning Yeho 'the Lord' - Shua 'saves' - named from the Most High Creator's YHWH.) He was then called "Ye'shua", now we call Him "Jesus". He is our Saviour, the Christ, the Messiah. Due to the constraints and evil of our shared conquest history, we are more careful now about how we refer to the Messiah and Lord, but we do not judge other's way of calling on the Messiah.
Our ongoing work is to align with His teachings and love His Word through doing what He taught. Worship services, creative arts, mission work, special needs, provision... we have created many opportunities for people to encounter faith in Christ in action.
These expressions of faith have resulted in hundreds of people choosing to follow the Savior. We have practiced baptism in water, communion as sacrament, and inclusive, invitational gatherings throughout our history. But they have taken many forms as the people of the ekklesia, those who are gathering, change, and our understanding of His Word and His Ways grows. Our organization is always in motion, led by His Spirit, Word, and ever-seeking His Way.

Faith & French Fries
2011 Faith & French Fries launched the ministry of PneuProject's creation of a local congregation focused on sharing Jesus. Meeting at Tap House Grill in Oswego, the event featured the irresistible good news of Jesus over appetizers and drinks.
Shine Bright, Night to Shine, Celebrate Differences Special Needs Prom
2014-18 A free of charge prom for all kids with Special Needs in the area hosted first in 2015 by PneuProject in partnership with Celebrate Differences NFP & Oswego 308 & the Tebow Foundation (2016).
Faith Retreat
2014-16 A day out to refresh and renew your faith - Women's Faith Retreat.
Early Time Worship
Launched 2013 Worship service built on the old time hymns & songs influenced by bluegrass & mountain rock.
Saturday Night Alive & Starting Point Worship
Launched 2008 & 2010 Worship services within the ministry of First Christian Church, Keokuk, IA. SNA featuring a large expressive front of house worship team and the musician's original worship music. SP featured a hard rock style and entry-level teaching and fellowship with meal provided for those who lacked.
Artisan Market, Oswego, Eureka
The Artisan Market was a celebration of creativity and opportunity to share the arts with those who create and support creatives. Launched in 2018 as an outdoor market for handmakers, it persisted in Oswego for several years, and also moved to an indoor location in Eureka, IL from 2019 - 2024. Many of our makers were supporting special needs family members, and many were themselves disabled. It was a delight to support their work!
Big Life Community Church
Launched 2012 Local Congregation of PneuProject in Oswego, IL

Big Life CC succeeded in offering radical welcome to any that sought Jesus for the first several years it served the Oswego area, baptizing over 200 people into the faith of the Christ from 2012- 2023. Offering a variety of worship styles, love of creative music, and serious mission work, the congregation served in its local context in Oswego throughout its lifespan. Unfortunately, the Big Life CC ministry ended in 2024 by choice of its elders, servants, and ultimately agreed to by the PneuProject board.
PneuProject is grateful for the servanthood of those who endeavored to build the Kingdom of Christ in Oswego through Big Life CC and commits to ongoing work to share Jesus / Yeshua, welcome and include those who seek Him, and to give the Lord better.
